Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: PT Outpatient
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:30), Monday to Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Experience: Outpatient experience strongly preferred; travel experience required
License: Virginia Physical Therapy license required (can apply immediately upon offer)
Certifications: BLS required; additional specialized certifications preferred, not required
Must-Have: DPT or Master's degree required; Epic experience preferred
Job Description:
- Provide physical therapy services primarily in an outpatient setting, with occasional coverage in an acute setting.
- Cover one weekend per month in the acute setting.
- Must be committed to working at least one holiday per season (two winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's).
- Complete orientation and required modules, including Epic training.
- Must meet COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only.
- Prioritize a strong commitment to patient care and rehabilitation excellence.
Candidates should ensure they meet all requirements and prepare for timely submission of compliance documents. Orientation includes 24 hours, with modules potentially compensable upon completion.
