The primary purpose of the Dayforce Product Owner role is to manage and optimize the Dayforce HCM system, ensuring smooth system operations, configuration, and user support while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

This position builds and executes project plans and maintains the overall Dayforce configuration. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact and assists subject matter experts within HR and Payroll.

  • Strong documentation skills for policies, procedures, configuration, and training. Ability to write clear and concise reports, emails, and instructions tailoring messages to suit the audience and context.
  • Building Relationships: Interpersonal and networking skills that fosters trust and create collaborative relationships.
  • Project Management: managing multiple projects from inception to conclusion, working effectively with key stakeholders across the firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, configure, and maintain Dayforce modules- including WFM, Benefits, Onboarding, Recruitment and Time & Attendance, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Dayforce system upgrades, changes, or patches. Collaborate with functional subject matter experts to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Maintain Dayforce system tables and access control and document process and results.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions and alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generate reports and queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train new system users.
  • Stay abreast of current trends in HR systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support.


What you have
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience; Master's degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science or related degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Deep expertise with Dayforce Ceridian (HR Modules such as WFM, Benefits, Recruitment, Compensation, Payroll ...).
  • Dayforce Ceridian certified.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) credential preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to function in a collaborative manner.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables, etc.).
