Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Location: Mocksville, NC Area (Relocation Assistance Provided)

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our QA team and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role will oversee quality assurance processes, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Oversee quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and documentation in line with HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Train and mentor QA staff on quality protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to drive process improvements and uphold product quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance within the food production industry, preferably in baked goods.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, and other food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in quality assurance tools, data analysis, and reporting systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
