Senior Electrical Project Manager

An IBEW ICI Electrical Contractor is looking to add a senor lead Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of project management methodologies. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, ensure quality management throughout the project lifecycle, and utilize tools such as MS Project and Accubid for project tracking and documentation etc.

Requirements

• One of more of the following is required, 309A Red Seal, Masters Electrician or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in project management within the electrical industry.
• Proficiency in using MS Office Products and MS Project or other Gantt Chart applications.
• Familiarity with Buildops or Accubid software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Duties

• Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
• Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Implement project management methodologies such as the Critical Path Method or Lean Construction to enhance productivity.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay aligned with goals.
• Conduct quality management assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, presenting updates on project milestones and challenges.
• Control and monitor all financial aspects of the projects.
• Facilitate meetings with team members to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
