Utilities Superintendent - Construction

The Utilities Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all utility construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes and regulations. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and government agencies, to ensure the successful execution of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise utility construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations related to utility construction.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all operations.
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent
• Proven experience in utility construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Excellent project scheduling and management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
