Sr Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Sr Financial Analyst to join our Exlar team!
As our Sr Financial Analyst you will, develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. You will perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Additionally, you will, gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. You will perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, and investment performance.
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Salary/hourly rate: $84,400 to $105,000

Your Challenge
- Processes and maintains general ledger, income and balance sheet statements. Develop plans including budgets and forecasts. Provides in depth financial analysis, interpreting results, making recommendations to management, and providing commentary to corporate on the financial results.
- Documents and updates accounting policies and procedures. Analyzes processes and procedures to expose any information useful in improving operating efficiencies. Supports the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
- Resolves and ensures financial compliance with regulatory agencies. May conduct Principal audits and support internal, external and government audit requirements.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
- Prepares and analyzes month-end financial reports; reviewing for accuracy or omissions, reporting findings to management and alert management to significant variances to plan and forecast.
- Participate in weekly sale, inventory and operations planning meetings, providing accurate margin forecasts while ensuring cost center owners maintain precise and reliable financial projections.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and studies as required including cost volumes for proposals.
What You Bring
- Understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices relevant to financial analysis.
- Possess proven experience in percentage of completion (PoC) revenue recognition.
- Ability to identify financial issues, develop solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations. Strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of data and complex analyses.
- High level of accuracy in data analysis, financial reporting, and model development.
- 4-6 years work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance.
- Finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a US Person.
