Reporting to the CHRO, the Global Benefits Manager as a newly created role will be responsible for leading the global benefits team, putting the employee experience at the center.
Specifically, you will be responsible for facilitating the strategy, design and administration of KORE Wireless global benefits offerings, to ensure KORE is competitive in the market, and provides world-class experience for our employees.
The Global Benefits Manager will also be an integral part of ensuring the KORE compensation strategy is designed to attract and retain talent, ensuring fair and competitive compensation. You will play a key role in designing and implementing compensation along with benefits programs that align with the organization's goals.
You will also support in the due diligence and integration of newly acquired companies as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Financial/Customer/Business Process:
- Manage the delivery and implementation of employee benefit programs in the US and Canada as well as globally, including retirement, health and welfare, life insurance, leave of absence, and other value-add plans.
- Ensure compliance of Global benefit programs with regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, COBRA, ACA reporting, benefits Non-Discrimination Testing, and other national and local regulatory filings, legal disclosures, and benefits notices.
- Monitor and reconcile data between systems and benefits vendors globally to ensure accuracy across all platforms.
- Serve as KORE benefits subject matter expert.
- Lead the open enrollment processes ensuring employee experience is smooth and seamless.
- Manage all relevant renewals process such as external vendors, brokers, benefit plan providers etc.
- Research and resolve escalated issues from third-party vendors, HR, or employees.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to increase efficiency.
- Lead implementation of any changes and additions to benefit offerings.
- Review contractual terms and service level agreements of third-party providers to ensure they best meet KORE needs. Where appropriate, develop preferred provider relationships with third party providers to save costs and improve service.
- Work closely with key benefits brokers globally to administer benefits and pension plans.
- Keep abreast of developments in the external market to ensure the KORE offering remains contemporary and enables the attraction and retention of talent in a cost-effective way.
- Working with the HR M&A function and external vendors as appropriate, support the due diligence of new acquisition, to include compliance of benefit plans, benchmarking against KORE plans, and provide analysis and recommendations regarding integration.
- Working with the HR and Corporate Communications team, manage all Benefits communications to employees.
- Partner with the Finance & Tax functions for all employee-related tax issues, including payroll taxes, T&E, and stock-based compensation.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of benefit professionals while managing their performance and development on a semi-annual basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- 7-10+ years of corporate benefits experience on a global basis.
- Experience supporting global compensation strategy and implementation.
- Experience leading a benefits team or being responsible for benefits in the US and Canada as well as global operations (EMEA, APAC etc).
- Experience with all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring appropriate governance and controls.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills; able to understand the big picture while also delving into system configurations and data file contents, as the needs require.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, working comfortably with ambiguity and with a high sense of urgency.
- Resilient and able to respond under pressure.
- Strong project management skills.
- Able to work autonomously & provide independent opinions.
