Position Overview
We are currently hiring for an open Senior Financial Analyst position in our Finance team. This is a diverse role where you can assist with financial reporting, accounting policies and insight, management reporting, continuous improvement and support the aggressive expansion through M&A.
Duties and Responsibilities
Designing and performing monthly processes for financial reporting
Researching IFRS accounting standards and proposing accounting treatment
Creating and documenting accounting policies
Designing analytics and providing insights into trends and figures
Reviewing general ledgers, preparing account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related documents/schedules
Researching, recommending the implementation of special reports as needed to support the business. (e.g. M&A or other initiatives)
Recommending projects to implement process improvements
Supporting external financial and regulatory reporting as necessary
Assistance with ad-hoc projects, as required
Qualifications
CPA or CPA Candidate that has passed the CFE
Minimum three busy seasons at an audit firm
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Demonstration ability to identify issues and develop recommendations
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented and desire to work within a growing organization
Excellent excel skills, including familiarity with building models
Education
University Degree in Business or Accounting
CPA designation completed or in progress
