Application Development Manager (Policy Administration Systems)

Piper Companies has an exciting Application Development Manager opportunity with an award-winning Annuities and Life Insurance technology organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Application Development Manager will work a hybrid schedule onsite schedule with 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and provide ownership for the organization's Policy Administration System (PAS) and related business platforms.

Responsibilities - Application Development Manager include:

• Manage a suite of applications providing critical business functions related to CRM systems, DTCC services, workflow management tooling, and custom-developed services platforms.
• Provide overall ownership and guidance for the organization's Policy Administration Platform
• Design and lead the development of new insurance and annuities portals
• Provide direction, motivation, and overall leadership to product, development, and testing teams
• Partner with HR to hire and train new team members when needed

Qualifications - Application Development Manager:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields - Master's degree highly preferred
• Prior experience building and managing high-performing teams with the ability to train, supervise, mentor, and develop staff
• Strong experience in annuities, life insurance, or similar industries
• MUST have hands-on experience with Policy Administration systems or similar configurable systems in Insurance, Finance, or related industries

Compensation and Benefits - Application Development Manager:

• Annual Salary: $140,000 - $150,000
• 10% Bonus
• 7.5% towards the organization Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)
