We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to support the South Division, Mid-Atlantic Region. The position is responsible for approximately 400 employees located in over 30 locations across the states of Maryland and Virginia. A key part of the Mid-Atlantic leadership team and the Human Resources function, this role reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources for the South Division and indirectly to the Regional Vice President. As a Senior Human Resource Manager, you will manage HR Operations for exempt and non-exempt teams including workforce planning, training, leadership/employee development and coaching, career planning, workforce development and overall human resource compliance.

What you will do:

As a Senior Human Resource Manager, you will manage HR Operations for exempt and non-exempt teams including workforce planning, training, leadership/employee development and coaching, career planning, workforce development and overall human resource compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation, employee and labor relations guidance, and day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Actively manage organizational talent and workforce planning processes
- Effectively manage communication plans and HR strategy for cyclical HR processes (e.g. Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Talent Reviews)
- Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives across the organization
- Provide guidance and compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers.
- Partner with clients to build effective relationships, understand business objectives to effectively execute on HR solutions that align to the business needs
- Partner with leaders to build and sustain a high-performance culture that aligns with the organization's values.
- Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.
- Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Provide coaching to managers and employees to enhance individual and team performance.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as turnover, retention, and engagement, to measure the impact of HR initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to recommend and implement continuous improvements.
What you will bring:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree. Masters preferred.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of full scope human resources management experience required, with related industry experience preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience, with increasing responsibility in developing, implementing, and managing programs leading a team and organizational function, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex and ambiguous business problems leveraging data analysis and modeling. Big picture thinker who anticipates future trends and consequences and creates competitive strategies and plans.
- Demonstrated experience relationship-building and consulting with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results/recommendations to achieve strategic/operational goals.
- High degree of organization and ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing projects and priorities.
- Development and use of change management methodologies and/or models to implement organizational change initiatives
- Excellent facilitator skills.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency to overcome obstacles and achieve measurable results. Resourceful and driven.
- Ability to interact easily with all levels within the organization; high level of collaboration and influencing skills.
- Superior ability to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to think and act strategically but also be willing to "roll up sleeves" for all HR functions.
- Willing to travel up to 30-40%.
