Harlem Hospital Center has been a bedrock of the Harlem community since 1887. The hospital provides a wide range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic and family support services to the residents of Central Harlem, West Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood. Job Description

Under the Direction of the Associate Executive Director and the Director of Communications, the Senior Management Consultant II will support the Office of Public Affairs by assisting with the maintenance of digital screens throughout the facility, providing audio/visual/technical support for Special Events, oversee conference room systems and perform other office duties as requested.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with the development and design of content for digital and computer screens throughout the hospital.
Serves as the key contact for Hospital Media Network, installing software upgrades, operating conference room systems and loading new content.
Provides audio/visual and technical support for events as requested.
Provides photography and videography for meetings and events as requested.
Coordinates special events as requested.
Prepares presentations, memos, agendas and other documents as requested.
All other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Master's degree in public administration or business administration, or in an equivalent or equally acceptable program, and four (4) years of satisfactory, full-time paid experience in a major governmental agency or large corporation or foundation in management analysis or in operational direction, planning, coordination or control of which two (2) years must have been in a supervisory, administrative or consultative capacity; or

A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience as stated in #1 above of which three (3) years must have been in a supervisory, administrative or consultative capacity; or

A satisfactory equivalent, however, all candidates must possess not less than the two (2) years of supervisory, administrative or consultative experience required.

Four (4) years of appropriate general experience may be substituted for a Baccalaureate degree requirement. Appropriate full-time teaching experience in an accredited college or university may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required general experience and appropriate full-time teaching experience in a position of professional rank may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required supervisory, administrative or consultative experience.
