Electrical Engineer \ Mixed signal Circuit Board Design
Analog/Mixed signal circuit design to support our Avionics Design Group
Responsibilities:
Support the design, development and test of avionics for launch vehicles and the associated automated test equipment.
Model, simulate and evaluate circuits, and document with analyses in support of design.
Generate design documents, specifications, user's manuals and test procedures for avionics.
Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate issues to support development and full-scale production.
Communicate project status to the program and stakeholders.
Collaborate with other designers and systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components.
Design, develop, and implement testing methods and procedures for individual pieces of equipment.
Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.
Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer - Analog/Mixed signal circuit design:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of circuit design experience, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of circuit design experience.
Experience with schematic capture, PWB layout software and DFM tools.
Circuit modeling and simulation experience, such as Spice/PSpice
Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and/or signal analyzers.
Working knowledge in one of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools.
Demonstrated ability to write design document, such as component specifications and test procedures.
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance per business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications for Electrical Engineer - Analog/Mixed signal circuit design:
Experience with Cadence Capture CIS and Allegro design suite.
Familiarity with CAM350
Familiarity with motor control circuit design
Active secret security clearance.
Worst-Case and Sneak Circuit analysis experience
Familiarity with VHDL and tools.
