Job Description

Thriving private independent pathologist owned and operated surgical pathology and cytology laboratory, located in Northern Central California, is seeking BE/BC Hematopathologist for a full-time hospital based position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hospital based system with a wide variety of cases. There will be more hematopathology cases based on locality.

• High volume role, as you will be expected to sign-out approximately 5,000 surgical cases annually.
• Pathologist would provide coverage in a hospital setting full time with 2 other pathologists.
• The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate and have a willingness to perform radiology adequacy assessment and engage with surgeons in the OR during frozen sections.
• This candidate would also be a liaison between the hospital administration, medical staff, and our organization.

• IT - interfaces to EHR/EMR, online report access, customized color reports, 24 hour IT support
• Courier Services - Customized and STAT pick-ups
• In-House Billing - Supportive representatives for questions concerning charges for services and assistance with insurance filings

Compensation & Benefits:

• $300000-360000 per year
• Relocation and signing bonus package are negotiable.
