As a Litigation Attorney you will be responsible for managing and representing clients in various phases of litigation. You will handle a wide range of general liability matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey including managing your own cases, handling discovery, drafting pleadings, motions, and engaging in settlement negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of litigation processes, a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to providing excellent client service.
Fully remote role, however, candidates must be based in PA or NJ and be willing to come to our office on as needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis of complex legal issues.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Participate in discovery, including preparing and responding to requests for production, interrogatories, and depositions.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys and clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates on case status and addressing client concerns.
- Attend trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 3-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably defending liability claims
- Experience in premises liability, general liability, automobile, and insurance defense
- Admission to the state bar in PA and NJ
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience preparing and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and managing discovery.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
