Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of landscape professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Provide ongoing leadership and coaching to ensure team members reach their potential.
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow market share in the Houston metro area.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with commercial clients, property managers, and developers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to secure new contracts and renew existing ones.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Manage commercial landscape maintenance and installation projects, meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Implement best practices to optimize workflows and service delivery.
Financial Management:
- Manage branch P&L, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiencies.
Customer Relations:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and responsive service.
- Address client concerns proactively and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Represent the company professionally in the community and industry events.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the commercial landscape industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscape maintenance, installations, and horticulture practices.
- Business Acumen: Proven track record of managing P&L, budgets, and achieving financial goals.
- Sales Skills: Experience in business development and growing market share.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CLT, CLP) are a plus.
