Job Description:

Manage merger and acquisition (M&A) integrations, divestitures and operational due diligence engagements on buy-side and sell-side transactions for our client base which includes corporate clients, private equity groups and commercial lenders across a variety of industries. Manage engagements throughout the transaction lifecycle and coordinate other company capabilities by leveraging the expertise of other service lines, cross-functional teams, and international colleagues as needed. Manage client expectations concerning timing, progress, deliverables, deadlines, and lead change efforts effectively. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development call. Recruit, manage, mentor, and train Senior Associates and Associates. Assess performance of Senior Associates and Associates for engagement and year-end reviews. Responsible for delivery of Integration and Separation engagements throughout the M&A lifecycle. Assess client's strategic initiatives in a transaction which includes rapidly assessing the operating model while identifying key areas of risk. Perform detailed analysis to identify opportunities for operational and strategic improvement, documenting conclusions, and providing recommendations. Assist clients to develop and execute strategies to create value including operational due diligence, strategy assistance, integration and separation support, as well as value creation assessments to identify opportunities to improve EBITDA and cash flow. Lead efforts to create concise and high-quality end deliverables, such as due diligence reports, standalone cost assessments, synergy cases, integration management tools, operating models, client project templates and status reports, providing clients with high quality recommendations and project plans.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering Management, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, plus 2 years of experience as a Business Strategy Associate, Senior Associate, or alternate related acceptable occupation. Work or academic experience must have included: (1) Consulting cross-industry clients at a national and international level; (2) Cleaning and pre-processing data for data quality, including handling missing values and transforming data for analysis; (3) Completing statistical analysis, utilizing descriptive and inferential statistics; data exploration through visualization and exploratory data analysis; (4) Optimization techniques, linear programming, and operations research methods to improve efficiency and decision-making; (5) Data modeling and process mapping; (6) Utilizing data analytics application tools for complex data sets including SQL Server and Tableau; (7) Applying descriptive statistical measures to summarize and interpret data and knowledge of statistical methods to make inferences and predictions from data; (8) Utilizing information in financial statements, cost analysis, and financial modeling for strategic decision-making; (9) Completing market research and benchmarking analysis, competitive assessments, and industry research to support strategic recommendations. Travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. 25% travel to various unanticipated client sites. May work remotely.

Compensation for position: $145,000 - $165,000/year
