This is a key role within our organization, reporting directly to the [Regional VP]. - Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide overall leadership and direction to all aspects of the manufacturing operation.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities and industry trends.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and supply chain activities.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profit improvement.
- Manage capital expenditures and investments.
- People Management:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Sales and Customer Relationships:
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in the wood products manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing a manufacturing operation.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent financial management and analytical skills.
- Exceptional people management and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control systems.
