ABOUT THE POSITION
The Department of Aviation is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of Airport Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all information technology systems and services at the airport, ensuring that IT infrastructure, cloud services, and networks operate efficiently and securely to support airport operations. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, collaborating with airport management, vendors, and other stakeholders to implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance the passenger experience, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They will also be responsible for budget management, project planning, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and staying ahead of emerging technologies to keep the airport's IT systems modern and effective. To succeed in this role, the Airport Senior Manager should have extensive experience in IT management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the technological needs and challenges within airport operations, along with proficiency in a broad range of IT technologies to effectively lead and manage the airport's systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field and five (5) years of full-time related professional experience in an airport or a setting related to the assigned work area; two (2) years of which were at a supervisory level. An equivalent combination of education and closely related management experience may be considered. An advanced degree is preferred.

Working Conditions: May be required to flex work hours on occasion and attend meetings outside of normal working hours as needed. Specified positions in this title may work with exposure to potential hazards on the airfield, construction sites or other airport locations.

Develops sound and practical solutions for problems; provides assistance to Airport staff and contractor representatives. Develops and implements performance measures, benchmarking and quality assurance standards based on the establishment of challenging and achievable goals; manages performance and the subsequent evaluation of productivity and effectiveness of assigned projects. Maintains liaison with and coordinates activities and efforts with other divisions, airport tenants, contractors, and area public agencies. Directs the preparation and maintenance of accurate records and files including history, vendor, and supplier records, and prepares a variety of periodic and special reports and correspondence. Serves as a member of various committees and task forces related to areas of expertise.
