Job Description
Aero IT Operations & Support Domain Architect. sets the overall technology direction of the Operations experience, by building and maintaining a future-state blueprint of product architecture (Technology Roadmap), and sponsoring innovation. Collaborate with the Operations and Enterprise Performance Functions in order to understand business needs and objectives. Ensure the solutions support all LOBs and satisfy business direction. Define overarching technical guidance for Experience and coordinate definition of architecture across all Experience teams. Work with Chief Architect to ensure solutions align with overall architecture and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
- Expertise across a number of architectural capabilities (e.g., data, infrastructure, integration, security)
- Understanding of modern technology frameworks (Cloud, Container, SOA, etc...)
- Knowledge of Operations function (Production, Supply Chain, Quality)
- Knowledge of the Enterprise Performance Function (Program Management, Finance, Contracts)
- Ability to perform cost/benefit analysis
Desired skills
- Experience Working in teams in a Fast Paced Dynamic Environment
- Strategic mindset and "big-picture" view to ensure overall cohesive environment and cross-product architectural alignment
- Exceptional written, oral, electronic, and public communication skills
- Knowledge of Agile development methods
- Knowledge of IOT technologies
- Knowledge of PLM Systems
- Prior experience with system of systems integration
- Experience with Operations Information Systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
- Familiarity with Strategic Planning and Analysis

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $157,800 - $278,185. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
