Job Description
This role involves creating and executing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, while leading and managing project teams. The manager proactively addresses risks and changes, and communicates with senior leadership, while also mentoring and potentially directly managing other project managers. They oversee medium to large projects and may handle small programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration,
Healthcare Management, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences or related discipline; and
2. Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in project and program management, execution, and
implementation, three (3) years of which must have been in the administration, management and/or
execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health care program planning,
research, design or related area; or
3. Certification in Project Management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Program
Management Professional (PgMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)) and four (4) years
of experience as described in #2 above, two (2) years of which must have been in the administration,
management and/or execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health
care program planning, research, design or related area.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
- Formulates the project or program management plan, including scope, schedule and possibly budget to provide results with the appropriate level of quality for a given initiative.
- Leads the project team in terms of quality, spend, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing all assigned project resources.
- Reports on Issues and Risks and takes ownership of same through to resolution.
- Creates Project Change Requests as is required regarding Scope, Schedule, Resource and possibly budget changes.
- Directs assigned project resources and gives them operational guidance, technically and organizationally.
- Is usually assigned to Medium Extra-Large Projects and possibly a small Program
- Leads, prepares for and facilitate large and small meetings with Hospital Senior Leadership
- Coaches and mentors Med Level and Junior Project Managers.
- May be responsible for the direct management of Mid and Junior Level Project Managers.
- Coaching and managing project team(s).

- Certified Scrum Master (Nice to Have
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead very large, visible meetings with hospital senior leadership in attendance
- Familiar with PM Tools such as MS Project and the Service Now Demand and Project Modules
- Experience with Monday.Com (Nice to Have)
Years of Experience:
- At least 7 years with experience in healthcare project management especially within a hospital setting.
