Global Partnerships & Content connects the most influential partners and people in the world to the products we build; operates content services that support better product experiences; and leverages insights to inform innovation ahead. Our Data Foundations Team is looking for a Data Infrastructure Specialist to build scalable infrastructure that will be leveraged to influence and optimize decision making in the Global Partnerships & Content organization. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs, proactively provide direction around data requirements, and develop analytics pipelines, tools, and insights that will influence our Creator ecosystem, Meta-wide music strategy, and Partner Management strategies.

Data Infrastructure Specialist, Global Partnerships & Content Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, insights and engineering partners to understand and decompose business requirements into data models and technical solutions
  • Proactively and directly contribute to the development of our data warehouse/datamart through data management, data architecture, and data governance best practices and thought leadership
  • Define and manage business expectations for data sets
  • Consistently work under your own initiative to design and develop complex data models to support multiple use cases across different products or domains, and seek input and feedback where necessary
  • Design and optimize pipelines, frameworks, and systems based across different business units (for example: data quality, metadata management)


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in hands-on technical analytics role gathering and decomposing requirements into a technical solution for insights and analysis
  • 3+ years of experience in following the data development lifecycle to develop scalable data infrastructure and analytics tools
  • 3+ years of experience with custom (Extract Transform Load) ETL/ELT (Extract Load Transform) design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Hands-on Experience with SQL for development (Oracle, Hive, MySQL, Spark, etc.)
  • Experience with building and scaling dimensional models/data modeling across multiple business domains using Kimball or Inmon methodologies
  • Proven experience of working prioritizing and working efficiently, to drive the most impactful work forwards


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with media, music, or entertainment industry
  • Experience developing data pipelines using scripting, dbt, Airflow, or similar tools
  • Experience managing and optimizing big data models
  • Experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools

$124,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
