Instrumentation Engineering Manager
The Instrumentation Engineering Manager oversees all Instrumentation Engineering scopes and is responsible for managing the Instrumentation Engineering staff. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to the CAM standards of quality and efficiency with the goal of exceeding clients' expectations.

The Instrumentation Engineering Manager oversees all Instrumentation Engineering scopes and is responsible for managing the Instrumentation Engineering staff. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to the CAM standards of quality and efficiency with the goal of exceeding clients' expectations.
Responsibilities / Requirements
- Develops the Instrumentation Engineering deliverables for proposals based on the scope of work.
- Reviews Engineering and Design deliverables for compliance with standards and client expectations.
- Set expectations and delegate roles and responsibilities within the department
- Monitors staff performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Serves as the Instrumentation Engineering leader and provides technical guidance.
- Creates detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for the Instrumentation Engineering staff to use and abide by.
- Checks and confirms the accuracy of the work performed and methods used by the Instrumentation Engineering staff.
- Conducts various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects.
- Monitors and determines various staffing and training needs.
- Hires, trains, and supervises engineering staff members.
- Communicates and collaborates with other managers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Responsible for evaluating, maintaining, and/or terminating department resources, as well as recruiting and hiring of new department resources.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
- 10 years minimum Electrical Engineering design experience plus minimum of 5 years Instrumentation Engineering Design
- Registered PE in Texas
- Strong understanding of the Midstream Oil and Gas Market and how to estimate projects
- Organized and Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task and follow through
- Strong analytical and math skills
- High-level of proficiency in computer software programs related activities
- Possess the ability to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Adept problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate with many other teams
- Interpersonal skills to manage a team of engineers
