Position Snapshot

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring that Paradigm's Agile development teams are empowered to deliver outstanding results. You will facilitate the Agile process, foster collaboration, and remove obstacles to ensure optimal team performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and helping us achieve our business goals. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, solution-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces change with a growth mindset. This position will report to the Program Manager.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings while ensuring the team follows Agile principles and practices
• Act as a leader to the Agile development team by providing coaching and guidance to team members
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth development process
• Identify and resolve impediments that hinder the team's progress
• Track and report key Agile metrics to the team and stakeholders, including use of data to drive continuous improvement and make informed decisions
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization, including the identification of areas for improvement and working with the team to implement changes
• Facilitate communication between the Development team and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and progress
• Stay up to date with Scrum and Agile best practices and trends as well as share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance their Agile maturity

Experience and Skills

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to facilitate meetings and resolve conflicts
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
• Continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to learning
• Prepare reports on the budget and present them to senior management
• Monitor spending trends and recommend changes as necessary

Education and Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Compensation

$75,000-$90,000 depending on experience
