We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Senior Annuity Sales Specialist to play a key role in expanding annuity adoption among financial advisors. In this role, you will act as a trusted consultant, providing advisors with the expertise, tools, and resources they need to integrate annuities into their clients' financial plans effectively. As the primary product expert, you will educate advisors on the value of annuities for retirement income planning, tax efficiency, and risk management. You will engage with financial professionals across various affiliation channels (Advisor, Large Enterprise, Institutions, Tax & Accounting) through direct outreach. Your ability to translate complex annuity concepts into clear, actionable insights will be critical to driving sales and strengthening advisor relationships.

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Senior Annuity Sales Specialist to play a key role in expanding annuity adoption among financial advisors. In this role, you will act as a trusted consultant, providing advisors with the expertise, tools, and resources they need to integrate annuities into their clients' financial plans effectively. You will engage with financial professionals across various affiliation channels (Advisor, Large Enterprise, Institutions, Tax & Accounting) through direct outreach. Your ability to translate complex annuity concepts into clear, actionable insights will be critical to driving sales and strengthening advisor relationships.
What will you do:
- Develop, design, and deliver ongoing annuity training programs for financial professionals and other business partners across Cetera
- Proactively build relationships with prospective financial professionals as well as active financial professionals. Partners with financial professionals to understand their business needs and consult on how annuity solutions may fit their portfolios.
- Develop, design, and deliver ongoing annuity training programs for financial professionals and other business partners
- Act as the subject matter expert on variable, fixed and fixed index annuities. Including not only the Cetera product line but also have a strong knowledge of competing products and carriers
- Work with other business partners to maintain effective coverage of financial professionals in support of retaining and growing AUA.
- Support financial professionals through advanced case design/sales assistance directly or in coordination with other business partners and/or outside organizations
- Manage the pipeline of Annuity Solutions supported cases through the sales process.
- Assist in executing firm-wide initiatives, including annual business plan goals, product-related sales campaigns, and other marketing tactics geared toward raising assets.
- Drive proactive efforts of sales teams to achieve stated revenue targets.
- Report the status of pipeline management and sales campaigns to senior management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs (goal and performance metrics)
- Complete special projects related to initiatives and ongoing sales efforts.
- Performs analysis by creating hypotheticals and other support materials requested by financial professionals, including annuity comparison analysis, portfolio mapping, fund analysis.
What you will have:
- 5+ years of financial industry experience, at least 3 years in a sales role.
- Strong knowledge of investments and financial sales process.
- Strong knowledge of risk management products.
