The role involves leading engineering projects focused on the release and enhancement of ultrasound probe refurbishment activities. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project deliverables for new refurbishment initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include ensuring product quality and compliance for both personal and team outputs, executing standard operational and technical tasks in accordance with instructions and quality requirements, and communicating program status while monitoring outcomes to meet quality, content, schedule, and budget targets. Additionally, the candidate will provide recommendations to technical teams, manufacturing teams, and program leadership to improve products, processes, or technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and managing engineering and design transfer projects. Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made. Accountable to deliver the scope of work to the original cost estimate. Manages schedule, budget, and integration of projects, including influencing the projects to meet customer CTQs and hit tollgate milestones. Project is often a component of a program.
- Drive total lifecycle value and broaden knowledge of Ultrasound probes to execute strategy
- Lead with a lean mindset and understand key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish goals and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to initiate projects and partner with global and cross functional teams to improve processes, provide training, and enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
- Make decisions within a defined framework. Resolve issues in situations that require strong technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consult with more senior team members to address complex issues.
- Develop strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE HealthCare. Explains technical information to others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience as an engineer.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience with product development teams with design transfer activities.
- Minimum of 3 years of project leadership skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel to global manufacturing locations up to 20% of the time.
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrated experience with design, manufacturing, and/or repair of ultrasound probes or transducers.
- Demonstrated experience in design verification and manufacturing process development and validation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Demonstrated experience in technical problem solving.
- Demonstrated facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in driving closure on decisions and issues. Familiarity with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
- Experience with entire product lifecycle of GE HealthCare products.
- Experience with GE HealthCare systems such as: MyWorkshop, Oracle, Quality Management System, etc.
- Previous work experience with refurbishment programs, remanufacturing, and service activities
