JOB DESCRIPTION
The Department of Urology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine has a faculty position available for an Instructor of Clinical Urology. This position will function as a faculty member reporting directly to the Chairman of the department. They will primarily participate in a non-accredited fellowship training program and will function as an attending physician at the four hospitals the department is affiliated with, University of Miami Hospital, University of Miami Hospital and Clinics, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Veteran Affairs Hospital. This will include urology in-patient consultations, emergency on-call coverage, and coverage of outpatient urology clinics. The candidate must have a Florida medical license or equivalent.
Function as a member of the full-time faculty of the Department of Urology reporting directly to the Chairman with the following responsibilities:

M.D. from accredited medical school, completion of approved urology residency training program, licensed or eligible for Florida license to practice medicine, board-certified/board-eligible in urology.

Clinical duties:
- Function as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics, University of Miami Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the Veteran Affairs Hospital including responsibility for coverage of inpatient and outpatient cases and operating room supervision of residents as well as outpatient clinics in the Ambulatory Care Center.
- Provide general urology in-patient consultations as required.
- Provide emergency on-call coverage for Urology services at all four facilities stated above.
- Provide outpatient clinic duties at UM PAC or/and satellite clinics.
- Fellowship Training
- Non-accredited training curriculum.
- Fellowship program certification issued upon completion.
