$85,120.00 - $134,400.00 USD (Salary)

- Design, implement, and deploy end-to-end lab testbeds based on provided requirements.
- Provide qualified network engineering support for installation and decommissioning of racks and network equipment.
- Verify and troubleshoot connectivity and health of network devices.
- Build, maintain, and reconfigure network equipment to meet the specific needs of the customer teams.
- Develop test automation scripts, troubleshoot network protocols, testbeds, and execute test campaigns.
- Configure network equipment for various testbed elements such as mobile devices, switches, routers, wireless/cellular equipment, servers, including ports, firewalls, VXLAN, EVPN and ACLs.
- Configure Linux-based systems (servers, compute, databases) that are part of the testbeds, and ensure proper network interconnectivity with enterprise systems, production systems, and internet access.
- Develop test scripts to extract network metrics from devices, protocols, and databases through API queries, WebSocket interfaces, and Android debugging tools (adb).
- Assist in maintaining additional infrastructure such as compute and storage systems, monitoring systems, and test equipment.
- Analyze and compare test results from test campaigns and prepare comprehensive reports in a presentable format.
Recommended Qualifications
- Subject matter expertise in IP Networking/Routing & Switching/Tunneling (TCP/IP, IPv4/v6, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, etc). Network certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, RHCSA, or equivalent experience are highly preferred.
- Experience with Optical Transport Network technologies.
- Experience configuring, troubleshooting and deploying routing, switching and tunnelingprotocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP, VXLAN and EVPN).
- Proven ability to analyze complex situations, troubleshoot and root cause system issues, and solve problems efficiently.
- Experience working in data centers, colocation facilities, internet exchanges, or central offices. Working knowledge of physical network infrastructure, including power, cooling, structured cabling, and fiber-optic cabling, is a plus.
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl) is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Work experience in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks.
- Experience with revision control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
Salary Range
$85,120.00 - $134,400.00 USD (Salary)
