ECS is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to work in our Quantico, VA office.

Are you ready to play crucial role in supporting cutting-edge technology for federal law enforcement and scientific organizations? ECS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Architect to provide IT services and support for hardware, IT systems, applications, and operational technologies that support mission critical operations in support of our DOJ FBI Client. The scope of this program is to enhance enterprise IT services and solutions to this FBI component to provide best-in-class end-user support and drive improvements in the operations, management, maintenance and integration of services across multiple networks, systems, and applications to enable and enhance mission operations for law enforcement capabilities.

In this role, you will be working at the intersection of traditional IT and specialized scientific and operational technology systems to ensure functionality, performance, availability, responsiveness of supported IT systems and services. You will be accountable for managing solution performance against service delivery objectives and identifying and implementing operational improvements to promote efficiency within the organization.
  • Work independently to evaluate and deliver robust solutions for complex technical requirements
  • Document and present solutions to internal teams and customer stakeholders
  • Evaluate and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with operational processes and program policies
  • Support, guide, and mentor junior engineers through knowledge transfer and paired programming
  • Install, configure, maintain, update, manage and refine information systems
  • Evaluate infrastructure designs for policy compliance, design alignment, and provide feedback and improvement ideas where applicable
  • Recommend, schedule, and/or implement system maintenance plans
  • Ensure system components maintain compliance with client requirements and relevant security policies
  • Work with the security team to evaluate vulnerabilities and determine appropriate treatments
  • Coordinate and/or provide support for applications and operations
  • Conduct and support functional, interoperability, and security testing events


  • US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience, or equivalent certifications demonstrating ability to perform at this level.
  • Experience in tools such as AWS, Microsoft, Windows Server, Citrix, NetApp, Dell Unity, Dell Avamar, Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Ivanti, Microsoft Service Manager, Atlassian, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, WSUS, and BigFix.
  • Experience evaluating security posture and providing solutions to treat security findings
