The Chief Marketing Officer at Maytronics is responsible for leading and executing the global marketing strategy to drive awareness, product adoption, and revenue growth across international markets and through all marketing channels. This role involves overseeing the development of integrated marketing campaigns, managing product positioning, and ensuring brand consistency across all regions. The CMO will lead a team of marketing professionals both at the corporate headquarters as well as regional Marketing leaders at our subsidiaries in North America, Europe and Australia. A core part of this role is to collaborate with cross-functional departments and utilize market insights and data to position our brands for success globally. With a focus on consumer trends and digital transformation, the CMO will spearhead efforts in both traditional and digital channels, ensuring our brands maintain its leadership in the swimming pool industry. Additionally, the CMO will track and analyze market performance, optimize marketing ROI, and support product development to meet the evolving needs of our customers worldwide.

The CMO will lead and foster a forward-thinking marketing team that is aligned with a 5-year company growth strategy. The marketing team will focus on aligning the Maytronics brand with creative content, programs, social strategy, and digital initiatives with both consumer and dealer audiences through a dynamic B2B and D2C channel strategy. The CMO is an executive position and works with other executives in the company to deliver on our revenue and profit targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide direction, guidance, and leadership to global and local marketing teams
  • Oversee continued development and growth of overall branding strategy for Maytronics' portfolio of brands
  • Work with both B&M and eCommerce leaders to develop a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan that will maximize revenue and profits for the global business.
  • Work closely with the Product, Business Development and Strategy teams in bringing market insights that in turn drives development of new products within the identified customer segments.
  • Work with channel managers to closely develop, track and own the overall marketing budget.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the global social strategy.
  • Have the pulse of the prevailing consumer trends, behaviors, and needs among consumers and translate this into actionable marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Align the team and required skill sets to work in both the B2B and B2C channels
  • Drive the "voice of the customer" into the culture of the marketing team as well as the company overall.
  • Continually strive to foster a culture of strategic and creative solutions from the marketing department.
  • Provide meaningful analytics on the performance of various marketing campaigns, making or aligning on the appropriate strategic adjustments where necessary
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competition and the competitive landscape
  • Develop a comprehensive customer communication plan that incorporates business intelligence and full utilization of the CRM tool for targeted sales and marketing campaigns to the dealer sales channel.

  • Deep and broad experience with strategic marketing planning and implementation
  • Understand the financial aspects of the cost-benefit implications for marketing, communication and incentive programs.
  • Strong creative and strategic mentality.
  • Knowledge of international brand management and the associated nuances.
  • Ability to work well with all members of the leadership and sales teams to create market-driven strategies and tactics.
  • Ability to be a thought leader, innovator, and creative thinker.
  • Strong analytical ability required to evaluate existing campaigns, develop new campaign opportunities and deliver the approved results
  • Understand communicating and selling in various channels.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within the organization at all levels and with external constituents and business owners as well.
  • Ability to deliberately affect change over time and pursue the company vision.
  • Ability to empower, develop, mentor, and coach others.
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WP Engine, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or marketing communications required
  • 7 years in progressive positions in marketing and communications
  • 5 years of senior/executive marketing leadership experience
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent platform
  • Experience with SalesForce Commerce preferred
  • Experience developing a comprehensive GTM plans
  • Experience working in a multi-channel consumer product sales environment is preferred
  • Travel will be required periodically throughout North America and internationally
  • Experience working with global companies is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
