Summary

Bell's IT Service Assurance Delivery team uses emerging technologies, Agile, and DevSecOps to design and build innovative solutions that enable businesses and consumers to enjoy Bell's services. We are looking for curious, collaborative, creative problem-solvers ready to be at the forefront of technological transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and documentation.
  • Develop and champion the teams technology strategy and roadmap, identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and aligning them with business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers, conducting code and design reviews, and fostering best practices.
  • Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and clients, to clarify requirements, present architectural solutions, and manage expectations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the architecture is robust and resilient, and addressing technical debt.
Critical Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in software architecture and design with cloud platforms, microservices, event-driven, near real-time.
  • Deep understanding of various architectural patterns and principles and understanding of scalability, performance, security, and maintainability best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with experience working collaboratively with diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and principles.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a significant advantage
  • Autonomous, resourceful, strong tolerance to ambiguity, excellent capacity for applied learning.
  • Experience architecting AI / ML implementations
