Sales Account Manager - Custom Engineered Components (Minnesota-Based Remote Role)

Your day-to-day:
Manage and grow accounts across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota
Focus mostly on existing clients while staying sharp on finding new ones
Handle everything from quotes to follow-ups and order tracking
Serve as a trusted partner to engineers and procurement teams
Regularly visit customer sites-mostly metro, with some rural travel
Use CRM, ERP, and LinkedIn to keep things organized and moving
Work closely with internal engineering and production teams to deliver what the client needs
Plan travel routes for maximum face time and business development impact

You should have:
A BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a bonus-but if you've got 5+ years of technical sales expertise, we're listening
3-7+ years of experience in B2B industrial or technical sales (think parts, equipment, custom components or custom equipment)
Strong mechanical instincts-ideally the kind that come from working with machines or tools
Background working with manufacturing clients or technical buyers
Experience creating quotes and using ERP/CRM systems
A well-organized mindset and proactive approach to account planning
Willingness to travel frequently throughout your territory
A curious mindset and a knack for solving problems on the fly

Extra points for:
Hands-on manufacturing experience or troubleshooting equipment
Engineers or technical pros who've shifted into sales
