Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics

Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Run independent clinic (Urgent Ortho Clinic)
• Office / Clinic patient evaluations and education
• Refer for diagnostic treatment / tests
• Administer Therapeutic Injections
• Evaluate x-ray, CT scan and MRI independently
• Review lab results
• Casting and splinting in clinic setting
• Write scripts
• Dictation
• Computer literate and ability to use EHR
• No call

Must also posses:

• Must be NCCPA-certified, or CRNP/FNP certified.
• Three years previous orthopaedic experience required
• Must be licensed to practice in Alabama

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
• Constant standing and walking
• Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
• Constantly work at a productive pace
• Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
