Infrastructure Engineer
Install, configure, and support an organizations local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system or a segment of a network system. 8+ years experience required
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time. Strong ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
Strong knowledge of networking computer hardware and software
Direct staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
Review and approve the planning and implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Review and approve the design, configuration and testing of computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and counsel organization on where changes will need to be made in the future.
Present system flow diagrams to organization and review and approve systems procedures.
Supervise systems implementation.
Supervise and assist in computer networking and computer operation functions
Salary Range- $90,000-$100,000 a year
