Leading, national engineering consulting firm is seeking a Wastewater Practice Leader to join its collaborative team.This role has the flexibility to sit out of a variety of our client's East Coast offices including its Parsippany, NJ Headquarters as well as Princeton, Philadelphia, Arlington, Doylestown, and Bethlehem. This individual will serve a key function in leading and supporting design and permitting efforts for a variety of wastewater distribution systems, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations and wastewater master plans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with top industry leadership in fueling the growth of a multi-disciplinary practice.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design and permitting of wastewater components for residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients;
- Partner closely with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization;
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives;
- Drive Business Development activities by developing new clients for the firm and maintaining relationships with existing clients;
- Integrate company's multi-disciplinary services including geotechnical and environmental engineering into all aspects of land development projects; and
- Performing other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required;
- Possess a valid Professional Engineer license;
- Possess 15+ years of related civil engineering experience with a concentration in wastewater distribution systems, pump station design and wastewater treatment plant design on both small and large projects;
- Strong client development and client management abilities;
- Expertise in wastewater design, hydraulic analysis and design;
- Experience in technical and proposal writing. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
- Understanding of AutoCAD or Civil 3D;
- Active participation in professional organizations;
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, and to mentor staff engineers;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.
