Position Overview:
We are seeking a Risk Governance Lead to support enterprise risk programs in Data and AI. If you're thorough, analytical, and skilled at problem-solving, join a dynamic team.

Role Impact:
The Risk Governance Lead will play a key role in driving divisional objectives for data governance and implementing the safe and effective use of AI technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive risk management strategies and ensure ethical and secure practices in AI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner Collaboration: Work with legal, technical, and business teams to communicate risk findings and drive informed decision-making.
  • Risk Assessment and Remediation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of data management and AI projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain AI governance guidance, ensuring alignment across the organization with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ethical AI Advocacy: Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI practices.
  • Security Support: Advise on data management practices and address AI-specific security risks in collaboration with security teams.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to data and AI policies, offering guidance as needed.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and implement training to raise awareness of data management and AI risks and best practices.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Partner in crafting appropriate KPIs, KRIs, and reporting to monitor risks in data and AI programs.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in operational risk management, including exposure to technology risk, information risk, and/or model risk management.
  • 2-5 years of management and leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Management best practices and AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, computer vision).
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry guidelines (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, NIST, ISO/IEC standards).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
