Job Description:
Seeking for a Supply Chain Program Manager for the ISR Space business to drive the capture and execution of responsive space programs. This role involves working closely with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to deliver mission-critical space systems. As the Supply Chain Program Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of program execution and ensuring the success of space programs, particularly in the area of responsive space.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead Space and Airborne Systems supply chain program management in collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations teams to drive execution, align with commodity strategies, optimize the supply base, and achieve the lowest total acquisition cost for a key program.
  • Identify pain points and drive cross-functional improvements, using a hands-on approach to optimize supply chain processes and increase efficiency.
  • Work with functional and program leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans, providing regular status reports.
  • Manage the flow of critical milestones and project requirements, ensuring adequate capacity and capability from suppliers while optimizing material flow and inventory.
  • Provide technical support for Design for Excellence (DFx), including reviewing engineering changes and assessing their impact on materials and the supply chain.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement efforts to enhance product development and supply chain effectiveness.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance aligns with program and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to support deliverables and ensure execution, while maintaining effective supplier management practices.
  • Interface with diverse teams, including internal engineering and supply chain teams, as well as external supplier partners.
  • Develop, track, and report supply chain management metrics tailored to space programs.
  • Foster high-level relationship management, becoming a recognized thought leader and trusted partner within the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Understand customer mission gaps, constraints, and objectives, and effectively communicate the company's value proposition from both technical and programmatic perspectives.
  • Drive long-term business strategy and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical standards and the company's Code of Conduct.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Expertise in supply chain management, particularly in the space and aerospace industries, with a proven track record of leading complex programs.
  • Strong technical acumen and experience managing the flow of critical milestones and supplier performance in space-related programs.
  • Deep understanding of contract types, including FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, and Cost Reimbursement (with fixed-fee, incentive fee, or award fee structures).

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Secret clearance preferred but not required.
  • Experience in managing subcontract budgets and sales forecasting as a Cost Account Manager.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel periodically to supplier facilities, primarily within domestic locations.
