GDC IT Solutions is looking for an Oracle ERP Order to Cash Specialist. This is a hybrid opportunity, with 3 days required onsite per week in Washington, DC.
Position Overview
The Oracle ERP Order to Cash Specialist will be responsible for addressing business challenges by focusing on business architecture, process optimization, and the development of business rules, cases, and requirements. This role will also involve managing organizational change communications and overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT). The specialist will formulate and define the systems' scope and objectives based on user needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

Responsibilities
- Understand and document current business procedures while identifying areas for improvement. Provide hands-on analysis of business process requirements to support Oracle Cloud ERP and related applications.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external resources to plan, design, and implement financial systems solutions. A thorough understanding of the organization's current state is essential before recommending changes for new business solutions.
- Under general supervision, formulate and define system scope and objectives through comprehensive research.
- Facilitate the transfer of business requirements knowledge to application developers.
- Articulate cogent arguments to recommend courses of action effectively.
- Analyze large volumes of information in the business area of support to identify key insights.
- Identify and address changes in business processes resulting from new business patterns to gain a competitive advantage.
- Understand standard methods for requirements gathering and translate business needs into IT requirements and functional design specifications.
- Build trust between Business and IT teams to enhance collaboration and communication.
- Assist in identifying and implementing various software solutions that align with business needs.
- Provide application support to business users to ensure effective utilization of systems.
- Write functional design specifications for conversions, interfaces, reports, and extensions.
- Support data cleanup, conversion, and reconciliation activities to maintain data integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation processes.
- Review design specifications developed by other analysts and provide constructive feedback on design documents.
- Prepare white papers and solution recommendations as needed to support decision-making.
- Support testing efforts and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems while considering computer equipment capacity, operation time, and desired results.
- Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into appropriate system requirements specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- 12+ years of experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- 12+ years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- 12+ years of proficiency in MS Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 12+ years of experience with Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite.
- 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- 8+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud applications.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle ERP Order to Cash process flows.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (12 years).
- CPA certification.
