Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the structural engineering team, providing direction and mentorship to engineers.
- Oversee the design and analysis of structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to develop effective engineering solutions.
- Conduct quality control reviews of engineering calculations, designs, and construction documents.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering and related technologies.
- Implement best practices for project management and engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- PE and SE licenses required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, materials, and design codes.
- Experience in seismic design and analysis is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
