Position Overview
The Director of Structural Engineering will lead and oversee the structural engineering department, ensuring the development of innovative designs and solutions for complex projects. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards and fostering collaboration among engineering teams to achieve project goals and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the structural engineering team, providing direction and mentorship to engineers.
• Oversee the design and analysis of structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to develop effective engineering solutions.
• Conduct quality control reviews of engineering calculations, designs, and construction documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering and related technologies.
• Implement best practices for project management and engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• PE and SE licenses required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, materials, and design codes.
• Experience in seismic design and analysis is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
