Endpoint Engineering Director - EDR, C++, Python, Golang

Position Overview
The Endpoint Engineering Director will lead and manage our endpoint security engineering team, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced security solutions to protect our organization from cyber threats. This role is responsible for driving initiatives, ensuring high-quality engineering practices, and fostering innovation in endpoint security technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the endpoint engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of security solutions.
• Develop and implement security strategies to protect endpoints from cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on security objectives and initiatives.
• Manage and mentor engineering managers and their teams to enhance performance and career development.
• Evaluate and integrate new security technologies and tools to improve endpoint protection.
• Oversee incident response related to endpoint security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Director or similar leadership role in cybersecurity or endpoint security.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies related to endpoint protection.
• Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Go (Golang) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage engineering teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
