Key Responsibilities
- Lead the endpoint engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of security solutions.
- Develop and implement security strategies to protect endpoints from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on security objectives and initiatives.
- Manage and mentor engineering managers and their teams to enhance performance and career development.
- Evaluate and integrate new security technologies and tools to improve endpoint protection.
- Oversee incident response related to endpoint security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineering Director or similar leadership role in cybersecurity or endpoint security.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies related to endpoint protection.
- Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Go (Golang) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage engineering teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
