RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Responsible for performing analysis functions related to the clinical decision support activities for the Piedmont Healthcare. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and execution of standardized reporting, tools and templates, and support for ad-hoc reporting needs. Utilizes EMR, business intelligence tools, decision support systems, and other data sets to deliver insight to key stakeholders. Develops strong relationships and partners with key stakeholders to understand and fulfill their respective business needs. Maintains strict confidentiality of all patient, employee and company data.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in Nursing or other clinical field, Healthcare Administration, or Public Health required. Master's degree preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four (4) years of progressive work experience in either a clinical or analyst role or a combination thereof, preferably in a multi-entity healthcare environment. A solid understanding of data query, analysis, and reporting tools required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise with Microsoft Excel; experience with business intelligence tools (ie Tableau, Qlikview) preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels including the ability to explain metrics that drive clinical performance and strong problem solving, project management, teamwork, and organizational skills required.
