This role is responsible for managing various treasury activities including cash management, investments, accounting, and regulatory reporting. $78,633.20 - $117,949.80
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee's work experience, geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.

What will you Do
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for managing various treasury activities including cash management, investments, accounting, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in identifying improvements to treasury processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash & Investment Management: Work independently, maintaining a thorough understanding of assigned treasury activities including cash management and investments, accounting, regulatory reporting, taxes, and statutory investment accounting rules.
- Banking & Investment Operations: Perform banking and investment activities, including general ledger analysis, journal entries, preparation of investment notes, schedules, work papers for financial statements and disclosures, and monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
- Statutory Deposits: Maintain statutory deposits.
- Internal/External Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries from examiners, auditors, regulatory agencies, and customers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with dormancy and unclaimed property laws and requirements; submit state and regulatory filings for cash, unclaimed property, and investment activities.
- Budget & Analysis: Prepare annual budget inputs and provide variance analysis.
- Process Improvement: Proactively recommend improvements and efficiencies in treasury processes.
- Enterprise Initiatives: Participate in enterprise projects, special assignments, and presentations.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for departments, committees, and senior management; provide cash and investment analysis.
- Foundation Accounting: Maintain accounting records for the Group Foundation, including general ledger entries, financial statements, and reporting.
- Documentation: Maintain written procedures and process documentation.
Additional Responsibilities
- Mentorship: Handle complex assignments and assist less experienced treasury staff.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned and conform with all corporate policies and procedures.
What will you need
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Insurance coursework, AIAF designation, and IIA General Insurance Series are preferred.
- Experience: Solid understanding of treasury management products, statutory accounting, unclaimed property procedures, and accounting systems preferred. Proficiency in Excel is preferred.
