Position Overview:
The Director of Med/Surg/Telemetry is responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical activities of the Med/Surg and Telemetry units within the hospital. This leadership position requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in acute care nursing, nursing management, and patient care services. The Director will ensure high-quality patient care, optimize unit operations, and promote a positive work environment for nursing staff. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Minimum Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing management experience, including leadership roles in Med/Surg or Telemetry departments.
- Strong background in patient care delivery, quality assurance, and clinical operations management.
Required Licensure / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.
- Current and valid California Professional Nursing License.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
