Hours: Full Time (40 Hours Weekly) Day Shift
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for promoting excellence in nursing care by implementing clinical standards of practice and establishing competency standards for staff members. The position requires a strong knowledge base and clinical expertise, functioning as a clinical resource, conducting and facilitating patient care consultations, and providing resources to assess the impact of appropriate practices on patient outcomes. The specialist will support clinical rounds with the multidisciplinary healthcare team and work closely and collaboratively with physicians to establish collegial relationships that benefit staff, patients, and the community.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by a recognized accrediting body
- Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire
- National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Current certification in area of specialty (e.g., Certified Emergency Nurse [CEN], Critical Care Registered Nurse [CCRN]) upon hire
- 3 years of Registered Nursing experience in area of specialty
- 2 years of Clinical Leadership responsibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification in area of specialty upon hire
