Multimedia & Web Designer Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Multimedia & Web Designer to join a software solutions company. This role involves designing and developing engaging digital experiences, creating visually compelling graphics, creating videos, and producing print and large-scale event materials. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of web design, graphic design, motion graphics, as well as print production to support various marketing initiatives.

This is a fully remote position, but you must currently reside in MD, VA, DC, MA, OH, MO, TN, IN, TX, FL, NC, AL, GA or OK. Applicants residing in other states will not be considered.

Multimedia & Web Designer Responsibilities:

Web Design

• Design and develop user-friendly, responsive websites using WordPress or Webflow.
• Apply UX/UI best practices to create visually appealing and functional web pages.
• Optimize websites for usability, SEO, and performance.
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
• Utilize HTML and CSS knowledge to customize and troubleshoot web design elements.

Video & Motion Design

• Develop engaging video content, including motion graphics and animations.
• Edit and produce videos using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Create dynamic content for digital marketing, social media, and promotional materials.
• Stay updated on interactive and immersive design trends such as AR/VR.

Graphic Design & Digital Content Creation

• Design high-quality graphics for websites, social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
• Create visually compelling assets while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to develop branding materials and digital content.

Print Design & Production

• Design print collateral including brochures, posters, flyers, and business cards.
• Prepare print-ready files, ensuring proper color modes, bleeds, and resolution.
• Collaborate with print vendors to ensure high-quality production.

Large-Scale Event Graphics

• Design impactful visual assets for tradeshows, exhibitions, and large-scale events.
• Work with vendors to produce banners, booth displays, and backdrops.
• Ensure all large-format designs meet resolution and print requirements.

Multimedia & Web Designer Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in multimedia design.
• Web design experience, with a focus on UX, responsive design, and performance optimization.
• Experience using CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow for website creation and maintenance.
• SEO best practices for web design to enhance visibility and performance.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus.
• Experience creating graphics and digital content for websites, social media, and digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition for brand consistency.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for branding and digital assets.
• Large-scale event and tradeshow graphics experience, including large-format printing.
• Ability to design backdrops, banners, and booth displays with knowledge of material considerations.
• Video & motion design experience, including editing, motion graphics, and animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar video editing tools required.
• Experience creating dynamic video content for marketing and social media.
• Knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation and working with vendors.
