Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruitment efforts for management and office positions across our Fire and Life Safety organization. This individual will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, from research and outreach to interviewing and hiring candidates in key regions including New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), and Florida (FL). The ideal candidate will possess a passion for identifying top talent, the ability to collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the recruitment of high-quality managers, and a willingness to understand the fire and life safety industry. In addition to talent acquisition this role will support other HR function, including but not limited to orientation, on boarding, job description review and development, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research to identify top talent pools for managerial and office positions within the fire and life safety industry. Utilize online platforms, social media, professional networks, and industry-specific events to source potential candidates in NY, NJ, and FL.
Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective candidates, proactively reaching out to passive talent through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media. Develop an effective outreach strategy to create a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, cultural fit, and leadership potential. Coordinate with hiring managers and department heads to ensure that candidates align with organizational goals and values.
Provide a positive and transparent experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process. Maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and ensure a smooth recruitment journey from initial outreach to offer acceptance. Maintaining a focus on the first 90 days of employment and initial goal development in conjunction with the hiring manager.
Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to understand the specific needs of the roles. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations for attracting top-tier talent. Establish interview schedules and selection process. Including the development of a 30/60/90 day development plan for each new hire.
Track key recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction. Provide regular updates and analysis to senior leadership on the status of open positions and overall hiring performance.
Stay up to date on trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices within the fire and life safety industry. Leverage this knowledge to make informed decisions on candidate recruitment strategies. Develop relationships with networks and association to drive recruiting and candidate acquisition.
Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Subscription, and ADP ATS to effectively source, track, and manage candidates. Use these platforms to engage with potential candidates, streamline the application process, maximize technology, and improve recruitment efficiency.
Additional HR Functions:
Enhance the employee experience by developing orientation and on boarding presentations, 30/60/90 plans with the hiring manager and monitoring progress, ensure proper title structure and up to date job descriptions for each position at TFP. Coordinate arrival of new hires to ensure all technology and the office environment is set and receptive. Maintain an accurate space plan to ensure proper workstation allocation.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on recruiting of management and office positions or equivalent leadership roles. Previous experience in HR is highly preferred and experience in the fire and life safety industry is highly preferred but not required.

- Deep understanding of recruitment platforms, social media tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with applicants, employees, and internal teams.
