Position Summary
The Withdrawal Management Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative functions of the program. This may include supervising staff, overseeing all clinical services, and ensuring programmatic and contract compliance.
The Site Supervisor must maintain a professional demeanor with all staff and community partners and follow all organization policies. Demonstrates commitment to the provision of services for the underserved and sensitivity working with a variety of people from low-income populations, with diverse educational, lifestyle, ethnic, and cultural origins; disabled, homeless, substance users, HIV (AIDS) infected, and/or physiologically impaired.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The work environment is characteristic of a medical clinic environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and arms to reach. The employee is also required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
The employee may be in contact with individuals and families in crisis who may be ill, using substances and/or not attentive to personal health and safety for themselves or their homes. The employee may experience a number of unpleasant sensory demands associated with the client's use of alcohol and drugs, and the lack of personal care. The employee may also be exposed to bodily fluids (blood, urine) and hazardous chemicals.

Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required, Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred OR anequivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essentialduties of the job.
- Valid CCAPP, CADTP, or CAADE certification is required.
- If in recovery, we require at least three years of sobriety.
- 3 years' experience counseling people with substance use disorder using evidence based practices. preferred. Knowledge of the local treatment community and referrals preferred.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, and the ability to stay on task required.
- Excellent interpersonal customer service experience includes active listening, problem-solving, and remaining calm in emotional or stressful situations.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Computer proficient in general office functions such as word processing, email, and database software.
- A current CPR and first aid certificate or willingness to be trained is required within the first (90) ninety days of employment.
- Be willing to complete or already completed the LEAD program with WellSpace Health.
- May require some evening and weekend duties.
- Commitment to HIPAA and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality.
- Adherence to infection control procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking, and social distancing.
- Assist and support the Center/Department/Program to meet standards of High Reliability.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise and support all withdrawal management staff, clinical services, and quality assurance.
- Maintain compliance with contract goals, objectives, and implementation of program evaluations and outcome measures.
- Maintain accurate tracking of patient referrals.
- Represent the agency and division positively and professionally while acting as a liaison within the community. Attend agency and community meetings as required. Participate in clinical consultation and professional collaboration. Attend weekly Co-Occurring Continuum Managers Meetings.
- Assist in maintaining programmatic and contractual compliance with all requirements and the implementation of agency updates.
- Supervise and maintain current documentation including progress notes, SUD assessments, and treatment/care plans.
- Ensure Utilization Review Checklists (URC) are completed per the required timelines for file compliance.
- Assist with hiring all staff members to provide quality and ethical services.
- Assist with the completion of annual evaluations, competencies, and reviews of all program staff.
- Support all withdrawal management staff on professional growth and training plans, supervise clinical services, treatment services scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Train all withdrawal management staff and ensure the implementation of vitals checks at scheduled times.
- Train all staff to ensure implementation of medication distribution and destruction per WellSpace Health policy.
- Report all incidents to the Divisional Manager promptly. Report all crisis or emergency incidents to the Associate Director, and complete a written incident report. Maintain and provide oversight for all required mandated reporting.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the physical environment, and maintain all necessary licenses.
- Perform other duties as necessary to the operation of the Organization's programs.
