About the team
The User Growth team focuses on driving new user acquisition programs through various performance marketing channels and strategies. They develop and improve in-app/web features to drive installs and user retention. The USDS UG team simultaneously focuses on growth strategies within our US market and helps improve global teams.

In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Responsibilities:
- Independently provide end-to-end analyses: from deep dives, to metrics design and evaluation
- Assess ROI and ensure proper attribution of growth initiatives
- Closely collaborate with product and performance marketing colleagues to iterative and improve strategies
- Define metrics, build dashboards and understand user behavior through quantitative analysis
- Monitor the overall health of growth projects and understand root causes of changes in metrics
- Create and manage data tables and pipelines

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or related technical/quantitative fields
- 3 or more years of professional experience in an analytical role involving user growth/product optimization/business analytics/performance marketing
- Proficiency in SQL / Excel / R / Python / Tableau. Familiar with common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression)
- Previous work experience on a consumer product, ideally in growth

Preferred Qualifications
- Good communication skills as a collaborative team player in a cross-functional environment. Ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in an easy to understand way
- Passionate about user growth, social media and short video products
- Experience working cross functionally with global teams
- As this role involves some collaboration with global counterparts, proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, but not required
