Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse (CN) Facility Resource is responsible for providing a high level of clinical support to the acute care areas and numerous procedural areas within Community Health System (CHS). This position delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs. Additionally, will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor / coach staff members and provide unit based education and support on processes.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
One of the following is required
o Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
o Achieves and maintains National Certification related to specialty
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing preferred
Experience
2 years of nursing experience of which at least 1 year in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) required
Experience with Definity administration, I/O access, Mediport access, Ultrasound for PIV placement and basic LVAD Management preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification (CCMC and CRMC only) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
For CRMC only, one of the following is required
o CCRN - Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
o CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
