Risk Manager - GardaWorld Security Services - U.S. Operations

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking an experienced and strategic Risk Manager to join our U.S. team, based in St. Louis, Missouri, with collaboration across key business hubs in Minneapolis, Dallas, and Long Beach. In this critical role, you will lead the management of our insurance and risk programs across the U.S. business, while working closely with global risk and insurance teams at our corporate headquarters in Montreal.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise and a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk. This role is responsible for overseeing insurance coverage, driving the claims process, and leading annual policy reviews, renewals, and applications to ensure robust protection of company assets and operations.

  • Travel: This position requires periodic travel to company worksites for meetings, audits, risk reviews, and other business purposes. Travel is estimated to account for approximately 20% of the total time.
Your Responsibilities
  • Evaluate insurance coverage, identify exposures, and assess liability through evaluation and reporting of claim loss statistics and trends
  • Manage annual business insurance audit process
  • Supervise claim reviews and administration
  • Reconcile monthly insurance carrier deductible billing and third-party spend
  • Track monthly KPIs and report findings quarterly to senior management
  • Partner with internal groups to understand risk and reduce exposures
  • Lead and gather all exposure data to support annual insurance renewal
  • Prepare annual Risk Management department budget and track monthly spending to budget
  • Review insurance clauses in contracts and/or proposals and work with the Legal Department to ensure adequate coverage
  • Interface with peers outside of the company to benchmark processes and hone best practices

Your Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • College Degree required
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred
  • Minimum of three years of risk management, insurance, or claims experience
