Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of aviation construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards throughout the construction process.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Lead negotiations for contracts with subcontractors and vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to align project goals and requirements.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues during the construction process.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including airport authorities and regulatory bodies, to ensure project alignment with aviation requirements.
- Review and interpret blueprints and engineering plans to ensure project specifications are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction management, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety compliance.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in construction projects.
- Excellent skills in scheduling and project management software.
- Proficient in contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities and project coordination skills.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and site inspection protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
